                 For BETTER Marriages!

And the Lord God said it is not good that man should be alone.  I will make him a helper comparable to him.  Genesis 2:18-25

Heart 2 Heart Ministry is a christian ministry with an emphasis on the preservation of marriages.
The ministry provides intervention through the dissemination of information and teaching of Biblical principals;  prevention of divorce through equipping individuals to make Godly choices, retention through providing post and pre marital counseling, and restoration through Christ centered Biblical counseling.  Plan to attend an upcoming Seminar or invite the ministry to conduct a seminar with your group or church.  Purchase the book and workbook from our site,  "Just Before You Say" "I DO", learn Biblical principals and practical applications for strong marriages.  The workbook (containing over 200 questions) is written to help you learn more about your future mate, or current mate and how to resolve conflict as you plan your future together.  It also contains a one year wedding planner outlining every detail of your wedding so that nothing is left to chance.

                       A Husband's Prayer

Heavenly Father as I take on the duties and responsibilities of marriage I ask you to empower me to be a godly husband, father, provider and protector.

I choose to forgive those who have hurt, misused or abused me in any way in the past.  I release them from their actions and set them free to live, so that I too may be free of my past and free to live my present and my future without the baggage.

As a christian I receive what Jesus did for me at Calvary.  I repent and ask your forgiveness for the sins of my ancestors.  I thank you Father that I am now released from the generational curses of my ancestors.

As I embark on the future I ask that you lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil.  I ask you to empower me to always honor my marriage covenant and that of others.  I pray that you will bless me with a godly wife.  May I always have eyes and a desire for her alone.

Give me the wisdom to guide my family in the way of righteousness.  I ask for the wisdom and humility to know when to submit to my wife.  May I love and honor her so that my prayers will not be hindered.  May we be willing and obedient to you.  When we fall short may we be quick to repent to you and to forgive one another.

I pray that we will always have an open line of communication  with the ability to be longsuffering, patient, kind and forgiving of one another.  May my wife and I become as one spirit, soul and body.  May the completeness symbolized by our wedding ring never be broken.

Divorce is not an option.  I choose to forsake all others keeping myself only unto my wife in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, in good times as well as in bad times.  This I Covenant to do with the help of The Holy Spirit in Jesus name.  Amen!
